CINCINNATI - Quintessential Outdoor Living Company won two industry awards for its Q series wood-fired ovens at the Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association (HPBA) Expo in Reno, NV March 19-21, 2009.

The Vesta Awards recognize and honor companies and products in the Hearth and Outdoor Living Room industry for innovative design and/or technology. Vesta Awards are given for specific products, not product lines, and judges are comprised of retailers, distributors, product designers, test lab engineers, affiliate leaders and industry experts that represent different disciplines.

Most commonly thought of as "pizza ovens," Quintessential Outdoor Living's Q series wood-fired ovens are a great alternative to traditional brick/clay wood-fired ovens for many reasons. Because the ovens reach desired cooking temperature quickly (approximately 700 degrees in 20 minutes) and the temperature is easily regulated, they are great for preparing a wide variety of foods such as breads, meats, vegetables and, of course, pizza. The cooking stone situated on the top shelf above the fire chamber, and the open sides within the chamber, allows the wood smoke to impart wonderful wood flavors, enhancing the culinary experience.
